![]() Rescue of forty three goats from the dicky of a long distance bus in the unbearable heat of thirty degree in summer by PFA chairperson and honorary animal welfare officers of the Animal Welfare Board of India, trained by the PFA Chairperson. Dated :- 24 th July 2006. ![]() Rescue of Slender Loris, that is generally found in the forests of the entire Northeastern resign of India and these animals are killed for food by the tribal population by PFA Chairperson and some of the members along with the PFA Doctor from Chandrapur area, some twenty kilometers from the city on the midnight of 24 th June 2006 ![]() Rescue of Python from North Guwahati, the other side of the river Brahmaputra river, this python was captured with the intention of feasting on it, the PFA members along with inspector of SPCA arrived just in time to rescue it and later release it in one of the famous wetlands, DEEPAR BEEL on the 14 th September 2006. ![]() Cows brought into the PFA shelter, gave birth to calves, lovely calves that are doing well at the hospital and shelter 4 th September 2005. ![]() Checking of overcrowded hand carts with goats PFA volunteers on the 22 nd July 2006. PFA stages a protest near the Assembly House to stop the destruction of the forest area surrounding the famous National Park at Kaziranga for the protection of wild elephants on 21 st August 2005 (Stop the Behora Blasting's). World Environment Day observed at the People Animals premises and to observe the day the Lady Governor is seen planting a sapling on the 5 th June 2006. PFA Volunteers seen distributing fodder, bran etc after the floods for the animal a freed after the floods on the 18 th July 2004.
